As a member of the Friends there are many ways you can volunteer your time.
Work in the Gardens
Help staff in the Botanic Gardens or at Mona Vale to keep these gardens looking great.
Welcome visitors
Become an ambassador for the Gardens, as a host in the Kiosk, welcoming visitors on Fridays and Sundays.
Become a Guide
Train as a guide taking visitors through specific areas of the Gardens and Mona Vale.
Join the Propagation Team
Be a part of the propagation team which meets up weekly. Their efforts help to keep our plant stall well stocked, which in turn creates funds for us to be able to support projects for the Gardens.
Help with events
Volunteer for one off events in the Christchurch Botanic Gardens.
