We need your help

The Friends of the Christchurch Botanic Gardens Inc. are advocating for the restoration of the earthquake-damaged Mona Vale Edwardian Bathhouse.

We have submitted a request to the Christchurch City Council to bring the repairs forward from 2029 to 2025 on the Councils’ Long Term Plan.

The Friends have begun a fund-raising campaign to assist the Christchurch City Council to repair the Bathhouse in 2025. The campaign was begun in March 2023 with a very successful Edwardian Garden Party at Mona Vale Homestead when $50,000 was raised for this purpose.

We still need your help so that the Bathhouse can be repaired.
It will be used to house a collection of semi-tropical plants and include a specially designed fountain; a place where the public can enjoy a cup of coffee, hold small group meetings or hire for boutique functions.
